replacing edge III with a floyd SPECIAL

have heard great things about floyd special's and love the price. Can anyone tell me if this will fit an edge III rout, without 7 pages worth of bickering over what bridge will fit what route.

It will fit no prob. Yes the special is a great tremolo. Just got one myself.

So, we are 100% postive that this will fit an edge 3? Hopefully mine doesn't need replacing but if it does at least I know where to go.

I dont know if the dimensions for a special are any different, but I just installed a OFR into my RG series (stock EDGE III) and the rout is perfect. HOWEVER, the mounting studs for an EDGE III are entirely different than OFR studs, and the holes must be doweled and redrilled. This cost me an extra $50-75, but it was well worth it.
