Restringing Guitar tomorrow (Do I need to tune the harmonics again?)
3 months ago, my
guitar
went for a professional setup, the guy tuned the
harmonics
, etc...
I broke a string the other day, and tomorrow Im going to restring the guitar.
Do I need to tune the harmonics "again"?
Thanks in advance for the replies, and sorry for such a noobie question

What do you mean by tuning the harmonics?

Sorry I am Portuguese, the choice of terms is different, I wanted to say:
INTONATION
haha, basically, the harmonic on the 12th frets should have the same note as the 24th, and the fretted 12th?

No you don't need to mess with the intonation just for a regular string change.

As long as you are using the same gauge
strings
you should be fine.

Re: Restringing Guitar tomorrow (Do I need to tune the harmonics again?)
Hello guys, I have VERY bad news
I was restringing the guitar, when I reach the high E string, I notice that this piece was missing
www . i91.photobucket.com/albums/k285/jay1ty0/dx_body-1.jpg
I broke a string the other day, and maybe that piece "flew" away
Do I need a WHOLE new tremolo? Or Can I get this little piece separately?

Nahh, I got some of those, but no tremolo for them.
You can buy them at any store.

Thanks!
I ordered a pack of Six and a extra pack of Elixir Strings hahaha
It was a pain in the ass, I was like:
Wow, I am going to spend all day shredding.
Then I look at the tremolo:

Re: Restringing Guitar tomorrow (Do I need to tune the harmonics again?)
I had them for about 3 months or so.
Even today, when I changed my old elixir pack for the new D'Addario one, the strings were almost as new ^^
They are great.
I bought a new pack, as I probably stated on my previous post, for 14€.
Since I am lazy to go to the store each time I break strings, today I bought 2 D'Addario Packs, and ordered the Elixir one haha.
Peace
