RG 770DX

Hey I have just bought a red RG770DX. It needs a new clear scratchplate, tone/volume knobs and new pickups. Can anyone tell me where I could get red volume/tone knobs, if thats what colour they are on original RG770DX guitars. And also if I can get red pickups or if I have to get red pickup covers. Any info on where to get them would be cool. Thanks.

You can get most Dimarzio pickups in red, so that's not a problem. You might also watch eBay for a set of the factory red Ibanez/Dimarzio pickups for that guitar. They turn up periodically when someone with an original 770DX decides to "upgrade".

There are several pickguard manufacturers on the internet (and probably a couple in this forum) who could make the pickguard for you.

As for the knobs, that's a tough one. There's been some NOS factory knobs on eBay lately, but none in red.
