RG FRETBOARD RADIUS


i need to know if the RG470FM has a wizard or wizard II neck because i want to level the frets and dress them. if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it.

That's a tough one, because the prefix "RG470" is one of the few to "cross over" with some models being Korean and some Japanese. Most Wizard II's were Korean, and your 470 is probably Korean. If so, then it is definitely a Wizard II with a 400mm radius. With regard to specs, you'll notice that all the other Japanese "shred" necks have a 430mm radius, and they don't differentiate in their specs between a Japanese or Korean Wizard II. This leads me to believe that Japanese Wizard II necks may have the 430mm radius. Simply because why would they set up another radius just for the few Wizard II's made in Japan? No other Japanese neck has a 400mm radius. But it's possible because they are using TRS style bridges on those Japanese Wizard II's, and maybe they are matching the radius to the nut and bridge.
