rg paint touch up

i have purchased a 95 rg550 which has got some minor paint chips an dings, i was wondering whether the touch up pens used on cars would work to sort them out.



i have not received it yet so i don't know the full extent of the dings

Why don't you sand around the chip(s) until rough-ish, prime the bare wood, and respray with gloss black, and even reclear it?

Otherwise, yes, paint pens, or other enamel (little pots) will do.

On black guitars, black nail varnish works well for touch ups!

Car touch up pens work great for black, not so well for color though, unless you get really lucky.

I used one to touch up a huge gash on the bottom of my S540, which is black like the above 550, and it turned out great.
