Good eye......I'm doing my "practice veneer" on a spare 7420 body. This is my first try at veneering so I didn't want to just blast right in on the 7620 body. That body is prepped and ready to go. I'll finish this one first, then maybe sell it or give it to a buddy of mine.....
I got the veneer from an online store (I'll have to look up the name). As far as applying it, Good ol' fashion bags of sand worked perfectly after rolling the veneer down. It's definitely been a nice little learning experience...
I think standard is 3/32". Just make sure you get a raw veneer, You don't want anything with paper backing.
