Yes, the 0 is a measure of how coarse the steel wool is. The more 0's, the finer(less abrasive) the product. Many people have very acidic sweat and it can ruin bridges and other metal guitar parts. I had a friend that paid big bucks for a really expensive ax and within 6 months, all the gold hardware was green with corrosion. I finally had to tell him he couldn't play my guitars anymore. Soak the parts in WD-40 and if the come out good enough to re-use, great. If not, toss them out(unless its a true vintage piece where even old hardware is worth something (sometimes I scratch my head on the percieved value of some tired old stuff). Hardware for
