S series wizard ll neck?

Just picked up an S series wizard ll neck and was wondering if any RG body will fit this neck? I want to make my own version of the Jem, at least with pickups and pickup configuration. I got a replica Jem body swirl off **** made of alder but im not sure if its going to work. Thanks.

The problem is that RGs are built to take a 24 fret neck. And the S neck is 22. So your scale would be off on the length it should be because of those frets not being there. The RG's joint has room for the two fret extention.


They are both the same scale but, the position where the neck bolts up on an RG is further back (correct me if I'm wrong) than the S because of the difference in fret number.
