Scarf Joint crack

I have a crack outlined around the scarf joint on my Jem77FP. It goes right up to the bottom of the fret board. How could I repair this myself...I'm on a tight budget, but if it's sincerely required to take it to the shop, I will dish out the cash for it.

Would a simple glueing inside the cracks and then viced for 2 days help?

I'm too scared to use the floyd on it now because of the pressure. It effects the neck somewhat as the headstock is tilted back a bit further than 13º. It's causing a buzz on the first fret for some of the strings.

Firstly I'd de-string it, take the pressure off to get a clearer idea of the actual damage.

You could inject some glue into it, the type of glue depends on your climate, if your climate is hot then maybe a good strong hide glue would be appopriate, it withstands the heat better, other than that Titebond would be a good substitute.

Try to fashion a support out of wood or cork that follows the contours of the neck before clamping it.

I'm not really a repair man and if you're really concerned about it i'd speak to Brian (Universal Jems) or Jeremy (LGM Guitars).

Check out some pro advice here:-

At this link scroll down to "Items For Luthiers", they have a "Broken Headstocks" section:-

I had an RG that had a serious crack like this...I used Titebond wood glue and a clamp, and it worked fine. Steve has some good advice. The question is whether you can get glue into the crack.
