Serious trem. angle problem with Edge bridge

Hi.

I own an Ibanez RG 550 ex and I've got a problem with the (floyd rose) edge bridge on it.

The bridge is raised quite a bit above normal, and the two screws underneath are screwed all the way in, so I have no way(?) of lowering it. I use 0.01 strings and standard EADGBE tuning.

I've read the guides both here and on ibanezrules.com, but it doesn't help me since, as I said, the screws underneath cannot be tightened any further.

What may have caused this, and how do I fix it?

Nothing has caused it......it's very normal. Just put and extra spring in the spring cavity, adjust and you'll be fine.

Thanks for your reply. It only fits three springs, but I changed the middle one, and it works great now.
