Setup questions.

Hello everybody!
I've just bought a RG1550 and I have some troubles setting it right.
1. When I press the G string at 19th fret and below (20th, 21th, etc.) the sound dies very fast. It doesn't seem to be a high fret problem (there's space between the pressed string and the frets). Having the action higher doesn't seem to resolve the problem (2 - 2,5 mm at 24th for the high-e string and 3mm for the low-e).
2. I really don't know if this is a problem or not, and I'm not sure that I can explain it properly (my english sucks). When I push the trem all the way down (dive bomb) all the string are lose all the tension except the high e (it goes down on pitch). On my old guitar (floyd rose equipped) even the high e lose tension. Is this normal or no? There is something that I must verify in the setup?
Thanx!

Bye!

OOOOps... I'm sorry!
I'll translate it now (I'm at work now, but who cares? ^_^)

Nuno said that problem n. 2 is... not a problem.
He also said that for his experience my problem the behaviour of my g string is normal and he asked me if the sound dies even if amplified.
I answered that when amplified the sound lasts longer but not as much as the other strings. Maybe a problem with the string itself (it's the original string that came with the axe and it seems a little bit "used")?

Thats exactly the problem I'm having only that my G string loses sustain on frets 16 and above.

You mean that this is a inherent problme that can't be solved? Does it have anything todo with string height or fret unevenness??
