Sick of lame pots and input jacks.....

Hello,

I'm really sick of having to keep changing the input jacks and volume controls on my guitars. Do any of you guys have any really good quality ones that you can reccomend?

DiMarzio pots and switches are manufactured by Switchcraft.
They are excellent. I reccomend them for everything!!!

I just put CTS volume and tone pots in my 2550. You can feel the difference in quality by simply turning the knobs. They're much smoother and they just feel more solid and durable.

On the downside, they're a bit stiffer. It's a little more difficult to do those volume swells using my little finger but I'm getting used to it.

Speed knobs usually solve that issue!

Re: Sick of lame pots and input jacks.....

I replaced mine with Dimarzio (big improvement over the stock ones). Only thing is they are larger than standard Ibanez ones so if you have a pickguard equipped guitar you will have to bore out the hole by a couple of milimeters. I heard that CTS pots are the same size as Ibanez ones, so if you don't want to enlarge any holes (obviously not a good thing with pots mounted directly to the body / no pickguard) then go for those. CTS quality is apparently very good, but I haven't tried them.
