Small Trem Question

I've got an original floyd rose (7 string) ordered from the U.S. it'll take a few weeks to arrive and i was wondering if any of the jemsite gurus know if the new original floyd rose trem posts will screw into the existing thread of the lo trs 7 trem post holders in the body of my RG7420? I know the existing trem posts in the RG will suit the OFR but i've heard a lot of stories that the lo trs posts don't have a long playing life so i'd prefer to use the new posts without having to remove the holders mounted in the body.

not sure on the fit but it's no big shakes to pull the inserts out and swap them, just use a bit of glue when replacing them and dont put any strain on them for about 24hours to make sure they're set in place. An 8mm bolt fits them to get a grip on to pull them out, check the link: http: www.projectguitar.com/tut/postab.htm
