Some questions on having a custom built...

Here's the deal: I can finally afford to have a guitar built, and have opted for one that has been haunting me for years (and got me started playing, incidentally):

I know about "regular" custom prices (that is, standard body shapes), but I was wondering how much of a price increase I should expect for something more exotic - just to have an idea, not trying to pinch pennies Also, what would be a reasonable waiting period ? 6 - 12 months ? Again, no hurry, just testing the waters. And finally: all experiences are welcome (as per forum instructions, experiences with non-sponsors can be sent through PM).

Fan ? You could say so... don't care much for his more electronic stuff, but I do rate him high as a guitar player !
