I just snagged an OFR, and while so far I'm kind of digging it (a bit brighter and clearer sounding than the LoPro it replaced) I find I REALLY wish it had the same
arm holder that was on my Wilkinson, on my strat. so, two questions.
1.) Has anyone ever actually tried swapping out the
trem arm holder on a OFR for the one from a Wilkinson? I know plenty of people have done it the other way, sort of, putting an OFR arm holder on an Edge, but I was curious.
Does it fit?
2.) If so, does anyone know where you can buy Wilkinson arm holders? The bridges themselves are cheap enough ($89) that if push comes to shove I could just buy one and pull the arm holder, but I'd rather spend $20 or so than $90, at the end of the day.
I might give this a shot anyway, taking the holder of my Wilkinson and seeing if it'll fit on the OFR. As an aside, I still think the Wilkinson may be my all-time favorite trem.
