Springs for s470?

Where can I get hold of just the springs to the ZR trem? Have searched the forum but not found where I can get them. I looked at Ibanez-rulez but they dont seem to have just the springs, or did I just miss them?

Thanx in advance!

Got the message from my local music store that the springs are no different from other trem-springs, is that really so. I feel these springs are "fatter and smaller" then ordinary springs?

No one have a clue about this?

Visited the store and just as I feared ordinary springs dont fit, and they seem to have no idea how to get hold of them...

Re: Springs for s470?

Well I gonna conitunue to talk to my self in this thread until I get some one who knows anything about this to respond.

Latest info is that there isnīt even a part no. on the springs for the ZR trem, and that sounds unbelivable. The ZR has been on the market for how long, 7-8 years? According to the latest catalogue I have itīs allso the most expensive one of the Ibanez trems (no wonder when you canīt buy springs).

So how the heck do I get hold of them, do I have to buy me another 470?!? This is starting to p-me off...

Figures you guys in the UK could get it. All I keep getting is the "we're waiting on Japan" answer.

Do you have the part numbers for the ZPS bar and bar springs, and the ZR2 arm holder, and ZR2 / EZ bar?

to be honest Rich I was bored at work today, thought I'd help a swede out.
Ibanez website, choose USA as a region, login the parts page as the 'UK' then finally managed to find something on one of the most user unfriendly pages I've ever seen.
pick 2008 S series guitar & you can drill down to most of the parts

There's a trick I never tried, the UK entry! Thanks!

Well that's all the #'s I need except the arm holder, and it's nowhere, yet ;/

Re: Springs for s470?

Are you wanting the springs for the backstop? If you do I have a bunch of them. All my guitars have a ZR trem and I use it in full floating mode so I have taken the backstop out in all of them. PM me and we can work something out.

Re: Springs for s470?

He's looking for the main springs.

I have to order them, and as they don't even have a part number, obviously they won't have the springs either. figure 60-90 days.

Sorry, I thought he was talking about the springs in the picture. Bummer you have to wait 2-3 months.
