Square heel neck on AANJ Body ???

Hey all forgive me if this sounds stupid, but I was always taught the only stupid question is the one ya dont ask and end up regretting it so here goes. I acquired a RG 560, with square heel neck, I have an RG 470 that [i] really like the sound of, can i switch the necks ? If so please advise on how to go about that, thanks all, Sambo

in short: no

They have a completely different joints. You could reshape the 560 body to put on an aanj, but I don't really see the point.

I have a few guitars with each and I have never found it to be a major issue, although there is a bit of an improvement with the aanj.

I've seen an AANJ neck on a Square heel body, looked kinda messed up to me. Just curious, what do like about the 560 neck that makes you want to try to put it on a 470 body?

The biggest thing is that it' s a WIZARD versus a wirard 11, I like the feel of a wizard better, I have short stubby fingers and even though the wizard 11 is still pretty thin in comparison to most necks the WIZARD just seems to be more comfortable to me, I have been considering trying to get a Warmoth body(tellin en what neck I plan on using) and starting from scratch, thanks for the reply gang,

Ya,it's amazing how much relatively small differences change the feel of a neck. I looked into getting a Warmoth body to put an AANJ neck on and they said they didn't do any Ibanez stuff. That was a while ago,maybe they have changed by now.
