Sticky UV1000 Latch
If you take a screwdriver and push the tounge (the part in the lock hole that engages the catch) as far as you can toward the latch it should work perfect, once or twice.
The only thing that seems to work is while pushing the latch you push on the catch in the oposite direction. Still no miricle, but will get it open.
