I'm wondering how much this would cost:
-rewire so that 5-way switch controls neck and
bridge pickup only:
-neck sc
-bridge hb and neck sc
-inner bridge coil
-bridge hb
-outer bridge coil
-middle sc is turned on/off by
push-button like on Fenders. *I'd put it where the neck tone knob is now, and move the neck tone knob to where the bridge tone knob (doesn't work for some reason)is.
Really the only part needed is the on/off switch, where could I get that? *Also, would that idea work? *Everything would run through the volume knob, but only the neck p-up would run throught the tone knob. *So, basically, how much would that little button cost, and where can I get one? *Or is it impossible to get, and should I settle for a mini-switch? *I'll be doing all the work myself.
