Stripping pickup wires

so, what's YOUR secret? *These little boogers are too small for any wire strippers, and melting the ends of the wire doesnt seem right, so how do YOU strip those tiny wires?

All you need is to make the smallest of grooves in the insulation and pull from groove with your fingernail. That's the way I do it, anyway.

Bob did you ever play with Legos when you were younger? *If so, I bet you were one of those guys who took them apart with their teeth too.

I too use an exacto knife and make a small slit and then pull it off with my fingernail. i almost always save all the wire. using scissors plain sucks because a bunch of the wire always comes out with the insulation

heres a tip (but might damage ur soldering iron):
heat the plastic sleeve on the wire with ur iron, the plastic will melt away nicely for u to strip away the sleeve.

Hey now, just what is wrong with taking Lego's apart with your teeth. *I didn't swallow that many piece's!
Teeth work fine, but if the wires get to short, you usually end up banging your head at least twice
