Stupid question; setting up action on a lo-pro

Hey all, I got my first Ibanez and my first floyd equipped guitar this week, it's a smashing RG3120 in TW! But when I get a new guitar I simply must get intimate with it. I open all the plates to see what's inside and I want to mess around with the action.

Now, I don't want to break this thing, so I've spent some time googling and searching on how to set these babies up. However one thing is still unclear to me. Inside the locking studs is a small hole for a 1.5 allen key. From what I understand, you are supposed to turn it counter clockwise to loosen whatever's inside before you can lower the action.

Thing is, when I insert the wrench and turn (in either direction), nothing changes! Isn't something supposed to come out, or go deeper? Also, when I turn clockwise to tighten the thing as the guide on jemsite suggests, it doesn't get 'stuck' like you'd expect when you tighten something. It just turns forever, haha! See it just feels weird because I'm getting no confirmation that what I'm doing is actually working! Could anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

Re: Stupid question; setting up action on a lo-pro

The threads are pretty fine on the locking screw so you may need to turn it several times before it bottoms out in the threaded insert. I suppose its possible that someone removed the screws so you are just spinning the wrench in the hole. Ibanez Rules has a page on setting these guyitars up and it is very well done so start there or treat the guitar to a pro setup and have the studs checked to see if the locking screws are indeed there.
