What happens when you need a re-fret on a bound neck guitar??

It sounds expensive and complicated.

around 250 would get you a good refret . i checked into it for one of my guitars .

Bound neck refret jobs generally cost about $50 more. If you have a Jackson or Gibson with bound frets as well(where there are nibs that cover the frets) it'll be even more expensive. If it's a relatively cheap guitar with a bound neck, it's really your call on if it's worth a refret. Did you check to see if you can get away with just a fret level before needing a refret?
