Sustainer in S-series

I've been wanting a sustain system in my S670 for a while now. I looked at the fernanders system, but they look too bulky, and the fitting instructions are apparently awful, making for an unhappy experience. Sooo, I changed my mind and decided I'll probably go for the sustaniac stealth (whichever is their new one, I can't remember the name). Does anyone have any experience in fitting these to an S-series? It looks as though the circuit will just about fit but it's gonna be really tight. Will I need to do any routing? I'm going for the push/pull pots for controlling the stuff you have to control, so only need two.
Thanks in advance,

Alex

Re: Sustainer in S-series

I think you are going to have trouble getting two push-pull pots in an S (too deep for the body), unless you have some shallow ones. I'd expect you will need some routing for the sustainer too. But I haven't done it, so I can't say for sure.

How much deeper is a push/pull pot compared to a normal pot?

Re: Sustainer in S-series

The push-pull pots I have handy right now are about 30mm from the underside of the top to the bottom of the pot. If I remember right (which may not be the case), they fit in the volume position but not the tone position. Measure yours and see.
