Swap Jackson Trem for Edge LoPro?

Hey I'm Cody. I'm new here, and sadly, I do not own any Ibanez guitars. However, if I had the means I would not hesitate. At any rate, I have a Jackson DK2M. Right now, it has a Jackson JT580 Low Profile Tremolo in it. I tried swapping it out for an OFR (much before I considered any Ibanez trem), but the routing is too deep for it so I could always pull the OFR back way too much and deaden the strings. The Jackson is routed for a low profile trem. So my choices are either, a Floyd Rose Pro, or some sort of Low Profile Edge. From what I've seen most if not all of you favor Edge over all Floyd, but tell me. Are the OFR (or FR Pro) and any version of the Edge directly swappable? If so, which model do you reccommend? I had a Lo-pro fitted on my soloist and although the trem posts holes didn't need redrilling, ALOT of routing would have had to be done for the trem to fitted snuggly. But by the sounds of it that isn't that much of an issue with your DK2M. So either an Edge or Lo-Pro trem may just work fine, although you may have to redrill some holes for the trem posts.
