swirl paint?


I'm kinda curious, i know alot of you guys here have swirled guitars, and i have an old RG321 body sitting at my house, what kind of paint do you use to do the swirls ?

Everybody will tell you either:

A)Swirling is so random that what they use won't work for you

B)That they aren't going to give up their trade secrets (More power to them)

C)Link to a project guitar thread.

I'll provide you with a link for paint that was designed for marbling (which is apparently the proper term for swirling):

Says on the site the paints are for fabric and paper.

Search my friend. Search deep within the forum and you will get the answers you are looking for.

A few members tried with different succes different paints and posted that here.

That's largely because the site is focused on marbling fabric and paper It's all marketing dude.

Most tutorials I've seen on marbling say any acrylic paint works but that oil has it's own unqiue look.

Meaning use whatever paint you want and you'll have to expirment to find works works for you and the way you do it and what not. Which I believe would fall under "A)" on my first post but thought I throw some guidance his way. Type marbling into google and you'll get a bunch of tutorials how to do it and on wood too.
