hi ive been trying to swirl for a yr and think my paint is wrong all sellers say paint is no magic and want not to tell what it is. this is understandable why kill the market but people likle me are die hard diy and just wanna do it for fun . heres the COMPRIMISE some sellers should sell the paint in descrete bottles in low volume and can still control the market to give us a chance to have FUN i personally am doing my dead cousing rg 250dx for his memory im think this is a good idea you still make money and we get to see that its worth taking to you to do it right and best of all you can stop selling it any time .if this clicks please let me know i just need neon pink neon green and neon yellow if possible thanks for reading this. andrew..

If you want to get a guitar swirled you can either do it yourself or go to a swirler who has put all the trouble and going through $ 1000,- of paint trying to swirl.

If you want want to swirl it yourself, you have to go through the trial and error proces and try different types of paint.

Don't ask for a cheat mate. We are all in the same boat.

Just some oil based paint. You would need to experiment with different brands to find one that works good, but that would be fun!

lol i found some ggooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood paint thanks anyways. i found the lady or o.g. who invented the borax dipp process shes teaching me all the tricks so look out here comes a swirl artist.ohoh.

I've tried so many paints (plastikote/ppg urethanes/enamels) and most of them can work. It's just a matter of knowing how to compensate for variables like Temp, Humidity, thinner/reducer ratio. I've had some work one day and not work the next day. It's a science and you truly have to figure it out for yourself. While I didn't spend $1K, I did spend a lot of money. Those high end PPG paints aren't cheap! I'll post pics once I'm allowed to again
