Swirling an RG?

Hi. I currently have an RG570 which is great, but im tired of the dull Grey Nickle finish, it just dosnt do the guitar justice.
I was wondering is it worth swirling an RG? (May ad a monkey grip to suit it as well) I know most swirls are on JEMs, but to be honest i dont have the kind of money to spend on getting a guitar that basically plays like my RG yet swirled.

Also in terms of cost, is it worth it for what the guitars worth?

Any info, or coments on this would be greatly apprieciated

Dude, using an RG for a custom JEM is the way to go. Have Jeremy at LGM Guitars do the monkey grip and claw and send the bad boy to Herc or ATD and voila! cool new one of a kind JEM.

If getting it swirled gives you the inspiration to play your guitar more then it is worth it. It sure beats letting the guitar sit in the corner of the room not being played.!!
