I spent hours and hours (as well as loads of money lol) trying to get a swirl I was happy with but could not do it. Instead I stayed at work a few hours extra and made enough to hire a pro. No regrets.
Yeah but even the pros had sucky swirls to start with.
OOTS+ had fake looking swirls to begin with.
herc fede used rustoleum from home depot to begin with.
ATD (darren) first swirls on those strats sucked so bad.
so learning is fun and yes expensive and dont plan on becoming a pro so fast because you will not reach that goal and be dissapointed.
ive been swirling since 2002 and am learning and buying paints every chance i get and dont regret it . but then again i get good money for my swirl jobs and i love my own work.
but i still am not happy.
p.s. what pros are left?
best advise i can give you is keep swirling until you blow yourself away with your own swirl.
and be prepared to protect your lungs and dont spend too much money on paint at 1 time.
and agreed that oots before he quit was on a god level of swirling.
