Dude, If this is something different from what you've been doing the last year or so............DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!
I Love the swirls you've been doing the last year. They're every bit as good as my OOTS, different and often more interesting, but just as good or better. If the Herc method is something different, then toss it aside....I'd take one of your originals over anything Herc ever did without a second thought!!!!

.very cool, one of the nices things i ever got told.
it is something different but: i want to expand on what i do.
not change just have more styles to offer.
even i love the different styles, i can tell who swirled a guitar just by looking at it.
i will do a new run of purple ice this summer as well as a free swirl for my buddy (SIXFINGERS) who me and a guy from here and hopefully some of you will help build a dream guitar that would be impossible otherwise due to his location and economy.

Can throw in a pafpro and a tonezone, not sure he'd care for them though.

2bit hacks means people who didnt go through with i9t and ruined it for me.
If you're referring to Livewire Guitars Neon colors, I know Michael didn't buy Herc's method or get any info from Herc.
He's been swirling guitars for about four years now and they have been getting better and better gradually.
He has put a lot of time and money in to getting his swirls to the point where they are at now.
Michael and I have had a lot of conversations about color.
We've looked at a lot of pics of other swirls trying to form opinions about what makes a swirl look good and the different styles that can look good.
The paint is out there for anyone to buy, knowing how to work with it is a long ongoing process that Michael has worked his tail off for.

Re: swirling tips
Hey swirltop,
been working with those humbrol paints and am getting pretty decent results on practice woods the only problem I'm having is I can't figure out a good method of measuring out my paint to thinner ratios. What instrument do u use to measure out the amounts? I've been using these medical syringes which measure in cc's.. do u just eyeball it?
Look forward to hearing from u

I have an old medicine dropper that has increments in ml, but I basically eyeball it because each tin of paint seems to be different.
