The more traditional case hardened bridge plate and separate block is the one that works - Fender's one piece, cast monel-metal trems from the seventies sucked very badly indeed, and they have almost no hope of staying in tune, no matter what you do as the metal is so darned soft it can't hold the knife edges in shape!
