The fabled locking stud mod? Help im a moron :)

Ok guys, i havent got a clue how i would install this mod if i were to buy it. Is it a simple task? And what actually are the studs and where can i see them on my ill-stability ridden edge pro (got any pics?)? Also, what have your results been from this?

Basically, overall- im looking for some sort of idiots guide to the complete installation ,and whether it'll completly mess my guitar up if i dont know what im doing!

I realise that you guys have probably been through this crap umpteen times, but after a search, i have come no closer to the answer!

Cheers

Kev

If it doesn't make sense - strongly suggest you send your guitar to Rich to get the mod done, there are MANY MANY reasons as to why Floyd Rose trems may not return to pitch, and the locking stud mod is a bit of cream on top of the cake - have a look at this part of Jemsite:

http://www.jemsite.com/tech/3other.htm#tremtune

I actually use it as a checklist when setting up any Floyd Rose style trem.

Cheers and good luck
