The Trem springs on my Jem 7VWH look Weird??


I have also just opened up the backplate of my Jem and noticed that the Springs are set up so that they do not look like this:

But instead I have my springs all attached to the three middle loops...??

As in that picture all the springs are evenly spaced, mine are kinda in a triangle shape?? Does this make sense??

I wish I could post pics man!!!! It would make my life so much easier!!!!

That's perfectly normal. Using the triangle shape gives you more tension with the claw in the same position. Apparently, there are subtle differences in feel depending on the shape you use but I haven't done enough tinkering to be able to tell you the difference.

It's nothing to worry about.
