Howdy-
I have heard from a few sources that if you take off all six strings, this is bad for the neck. What exactly happens when all six strings are off the guitar, leaving the
truss rod with no tension to counter act? Is it trully a very bad thing, or is that only a half truth?
Also, how do you go about adjusting the truss rod? I don't mean how do you physically adjust it. I mean like how do measures how good/bad the truss rod is set...how do you know you have reached an optimal truss rod setting?
Finally, when setting up a guitar (double locking trem), what order should adjustments go in?
Thanks a ton!
