Think I should route for carbon fiber rods since.........


.........I have the fretboard off on my RG570 neck? Necks are so thin that I hate to remove too much wood.

I don't think so.

I mean, guitar necks are deceptively strong. Look at all the pressure they can withstand.

Might not even be worth it, if you were to do it though build a neck from scratch.

LOL. I just followed this tutorial.

I just ordered my replacement fretboard earlier today. Getting an all new maple board with a tree of life and black inlays. I was thinking of mixing the inlays and doing MOP and black leaves on the standard frets.
