totally screwed over by my edgeIII

basically i live i the uk, and 2 of the little clamping blocks have gone from my bridge, so i went out to my local guitar shop to buy new ones, got em but found out they didnt fit.]

with some more research i discover only ones specifically for the ibanez will fit, then i find out that theres no way to get the parts of you live in the uk, so my only option it seems is to replace the whole god damn trem

anyone here have any ideas?

thanks

What did you buy ? If you got the standard Floyd replacement ones they will fit. I guess the ones you have fall lower than the Ibanez ones do and you cannot get the locking bolt to meet the hole ?

I have used the original Floyd ones on some Ibanez trems by putting a small piece of bluetac on the bottom of the block before putting it in the saddle. This will hold it up high enough so you can get the bolt in.

If you want to make a more permanent job you can measure the original Ibanez ones and add super glue to the bottom of the new block until it is the same height.

Oh…Just in case anyone is intellectually challenged.

Make sure you let the glue dry before putting the block back in the saddle !!
