Trem angle changed after changing strings!
I've searched the forum for half an hour but couldn't find any threads really relevant to my problem.
I changed my strings on my RG1570, Edge Pro trem. Same gauge and brand as before (10-46, EB). But after restringing and tuning strings to pitch the trem angle went positive. I know how to adjust the trem angle and it should be fine. But my question is how did my trem angle change? How can I get rid of that next time so I won't need to adjust the trem angle again? I changed the strings one by one and did not block the trem. Thanks for any replies mates!

Maybe you only need to stretch them better

Nah, I think strings get lack after stretched so we must tune it up. That makes the angle even more positive, doesn't that?

Re: Trem angle changed after changing strings!
so you inted the trem went backwards...sometimes you could buy a set of string which is already old or isn't perfect, I wouldn't worry about it, maybe fix the issue setting the springs or change the strings

Sounds like one of the strings in the new set is a different gauge than it's supposed to be.

Re: Trem angle changed after changing strings!
No way mates. The strings were dead new, shine as sun. And I don't think there was a string with a wrong gauge. Have any of you had the same problem before?

Re: Trem angle changed after changing strings!
It's a common occurrence and is not a big deal. A quick adjustment to the spring hook screws should solve the problem straightaway

Re: Trem angle changed after changing strings!
Stretched strings become thinner which makes the gauge smaller.

But it's always better if you don't need to do this and everything is ready to go, right?

Then the new strings should be the same as old strings for they're all streched by me, shouldn't they? So they're all the same in the end of the day and should make no difference huh?!

Old played strings are stretched even further.

Well sure, but just as old played strings stretch, old ~springs~ begin to stretch after time as well and eventually a slight adjustment is basically unavoidable
So just DO IT and ROCK~~~
BTWW - Also keep in mind that you'll need to periodocally adjust the truss as well

Re: Trem angle changed after changing strings!
because the humidity, temperature ecc. variations cause the wood tho change its setting
