trem arm bushings
ive had my rg1570 for about a month and the arm is already loosened to the point where it doesnt stick much at all. im guessing this is somewhat normal although i didnt think that would happen that quick (i do use it a lot though).
anyway, im guessing the bushings need to be replaced on the arm, right? where can i get these and are they cheap enough that i can stock up on them?

Re: trem arm bushings
Ibanez Rules is your one stop shop for most parts (check the colorful banner up top). Rich sells arm bushings (ED/LP/EP), a Bag of 12, for $12, which is also just above the min. order amount ;P.

Re: trem arm bushings
Apart from buying new ones you can always use a bit of nail polish, or teflon tape (between the bushing and the arm itself) or various other home remedies that have been listed on here from time to time. Do a search for "bushings" in this forum category and you should find them all.

Re: trem arm bushings
You can also cut a small circular section out of a guitar string bag (plastic). Put it around the end of the
trem arm
and push it in. Make sure the piece is big enough so that it still sticks out a bit on the edges when the trem arm is inserted. Oh buoy...I just said inserted
Works great until your new bushings arrive.....sometimes even better
BTW - I used to jam in a great little hole in the wall bar called Mister C's

Re: trem arm bushings
When you do a search also try "Washers" i.s.o. bushings.
When you put new ones on, make sure they are on correctly: there are three tiny dots on one side, this side should point towards the tip, for both washers. The original Edge (LoPro) manual shows the washers are slightly tapered (difficult to see with the naked eye)

have you checked to see if it has come loose ?
remove the trem cover at the rear of the guitar and check the trem holder is not loose, if it needs to be tightened then you need a 10mm deep reach socket, bushes alone dont make the trem arm THAT loose.
you may find that you wont need those bushings.

Re: trem arm bushings
I dont know if the washers have something to do if the trem arm is not firm.
Note: the guitar is brand new just played a couple of hrs.

Re: trem arm bushings
You could just do what I do: learn to play with it sloppy
Nail polish works though, I'd reccomend it.

Re: trem arm bushings
I have a
Jackson Kelly
K-10 Pro and on the tremolo it just says "licensed under Floyd Rose patents" so I'm not sure if there is a particular kind of bushing that I need for it. My
tremolo arm
is loose and after using it, it falls right back down very quickly into locked position. I took the arm out and of course there is no little plastic bushing on the arm, so I'm going to need some more. Anyone know if they're kind of "universal" or if I'll need a certain kind?
