Trem height and action problem. - Lowest possible trem heigh

Hi everyone.

I have a jem 555 and have recently changed the trem to an Edge.
Problem is that even when set at the lowest possible trem height.. the action is very high at approx half a centimeter.
Is there anyway to fix this?

Shimming the neck is the first thing that comes to my mind.

check for the neck straightness. if it's good (straight, or with a little little little relief), do what Xing said: put a shim on the neck-body joint, in order to have it slightly bent downward.

a question:
did you replace the posts too? if you put the Edge's in TRS posts instead, check for the Stud Locks to be loosen [size=0.5](loosened? sp?)[/size]
