Trem post inserts

I'm drilling holes at 7/16" and they are snug if you are talking about Edge style post anchors..

I orginally tried 13/32" but found it was just to tight and your taking a chance on cracking the body pushing them in.

Trem post inserts

Bammers, see if you can get ahold of some Loctite for wood repair.

It's new on the market and is an A/B epoxy mixture made specially for wood. Once you mix it you only have about 4 minutes before it really starts to set real good so spread it around the outside of the anchors (thin coat) and insert them into those over sized holes...

That should bail you out of your problem....Sorry about the double post *I forgot you already had the holes drilled out.

Re: Trem post inserts - What is the diameter?

hi people, i have a ibanez guitar body, i don't know the model#, its not on the neck or in the neck pocket, the trem inserts are too small for an edge trem, a lo-trs II trem is rubbing against the sides of the routes, the post's that came with the lo-trs II are too big also,a standard ibanex 43mm nut hung over the sides of the neck so i got a floyd rose type 42mm or 15/8' top mounted nut and it works, thats what led me to believe an edge trem doesn't fit and maybe a lo-trs does?...any help would be appreciated, thanks, andy

Edge trem inserts call for an 11mm drill bit.
