Trem pullup on Lo-pro "bottoming out"

I recently lowered the action on my 7v. The action wasn't bad...I just wanted to get it a little lower. Now it seems that the trem won't pull up a 5th like it did before. Can that be corrected with the action where it is now, or am I going to have to raise the bridge again to get the extra pullup?

Thanks
Scott

If I remember correctly, you need to add a neckshim and raise the bridge to get the same low action with more pullup range. I've never done it, just talking from memory.

Yes, a neck shim will allow the trem to sit higher for the same amount of action. That, in turn, will give you more room for pulling the trem up before bottoming out.
