Trem Tuning Problems

Ok i went through the checklist this site had and it seemed to be ok. It seems that when i push down on the bar and drop the notes the strings go flat. If i pull the bar back up and then back to normal position again, the strings are now sharp. The trem angle is fine and if a picture would help, let me know. This is my first floating trem so im kinda new and reluctent with it so any help is welcome. Its a low-pro trem off a Jem7 '04
