Tremolo arm tightness...

Very simple question which has probably been answered somewhere before so please excuce me :

How do I tighten the tremolo arm of the Lo-pro on my Ibanez FGM? I've removed the unit from the guitar but I didn't notice any screws and I find very annoying the fact that the arm never stays where I want to because it's too loose.

Thanx for the help!!!

Take off the back plate, then there is a screw that u can tighten or untighten just under the trem arm hole!

Which only holds the spring in place and has nothing to do with how tight the bar is.

And, if you're going to pull the bushings off the bar, anything but putting new bushings on is just "dumb"

Then the nail polish trick is short term leaving you to redo a couple days later [and does nothing for those actually WANTING a tight bar]

IMO [and already stated] anything other than new bushings is just "dumb"

again, it's not *dumb* if you like the looser feel of older bushings

the new ones are IMHO way stiff/tight... glen

Ooops sorry dont know what happened to me, am asleep lol, anyway its written in the manual that bushes should be replaced when they have been used a lot, to reduce the torque!

Nothing a dab of grease in the hole wouldn't cure

Not if you want a looser feel to new bushings, and can easily be wiped out when they start to loosen up from wear!

And obviously you don't buy new guitars because EVERY ONE has grease in the arm holder
