Tremolo in tele

Hey guys, my main axe is a masterbilt tele with a thru neck (don't worry, i didn't pay the actual crazy prices fender charges, I luckily got it used for 1200$). Anyways, I love everything about it, except sometimes I wish it had a tremolo. I was wondering how much of a pain it would be to have it rerouted for a strat style tremolo, and what the price range would probably be if I were to have it professionally done. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

See thats the thing, I don't want a bigsby, I can't stand em, thats why I was wondering if I could reroute it for a strat style tremolo.

Anything is possible but consider what it will do to the value of the guitar. And how bad it might come out if you have the wrong person do the install. I would do it on a cheaper Tele myself and have thought about it more than once.
