Unhappy

Tremolo Springs are Uneven!! Somebody help me

I adjusted the springs in the back of the guitar and the tremolo is floating perfectly parallel with the body of the guitar. The springs were even before I adjusted them and I turned the screws the same amount, but when the guitar was in tune, the spring on the treble side needed to be tightened. Now the spring on the treble side is higher than the one on the bass side. How can I get the springs even with one another?

Re: Tremolo Springs are Uneven

Nevermind, I already fixed it. I just evened the springs up and tuned the guitar until the springs were even.

Good on you, gman, for going through the "trials and tribulations" of performing your own set-up

Thanks, I don't think I'll ever pay to have my guitar setup again. When you do it yourself it's free, and you can adjust it to your own personal preference.
