Truss Rod Problems...temperature change is the cause?

I have a Custom Shop Schecter that was professionally set up a couple months ago. During the last set up, snow was on the ground; currently, it's around 70 degrees, and has been for about a week. I think that maybe this is affecting my guitar's truss rod (?).
It has a mahogany set neck and ebony fretboard. It's set up for string gauges 10-46, and it has a tune-o-matic bridge. I'm experiencing a slight fret buzz from the open string up to about the 8th fret, and it's especially bad on the low E string. Looking at the guitar vertically, there is a slight bow, which I know is how you want it to be, but I'm starting to think that maybe the bow is too pronounced and that is what's causing my problems.
Could this be adjusted with a slight action change? I've also been told that might nut is cut too deeply.
Just need a little direction, please. I can post pics of the guitar if needed.
Thanks!

which direction is the bow in ?
toward the strings - or away from them ?
you should have about .3 - .5mm relief in the neck
if you need more relief then turn the truss rod anti-clockwise and vice-versa

Or raise the action just a tad and it should solve the problems.

The neck bow is towards the strings/pickups. So yes, that's the way it's supposed to be?
I suppose I could try raising the action a bit, but wouldn't it be buzzing from about the 12th fret up if that were the problem?

Don't forget the X2N. According to a very knowledgable source they are the only pickup worth using.

Rock on!

Also, don't forget to replace the bridge for a Kahler

no, it needs to bow the other way.
you need a bit of front bow in the neck (relief)
if the fingerboard is bowing toward the strings (backbow) then dial in a little relief by turning the truss rod anticlockwise.
1/8 turn at a time.
you dont need a lot of relief.

Sorry for the derail.

Temperature change could indeed be the problem.

If you have any doubts about adjusting the truss rod yourself, take it to the person who set it up.

I think we're talking about the same thing actually.
The headstock is going towards the pickups. If it kept going, the Schecter logo would be on top of the pickups.
The fingerboard isn't bowing towards the strings. The neck is going in that direction. Hope that makes sense. But yes, I know I need a little bit of bow, and I'm just thinkin I have a little too much. I'm gonna try the action first, and then if that doesn't work, go for the truss rod.
This will be my first truss rod adjustment by myself. The guy that sets up my guitar is good, but honestly, I don't wanna pay 50 bucks for a little adjustment.

OK, I getcha !
capo the first and hold down the 15th with you index finger and then if you dont have a feeler gauge eyeball the distance from the string to the fret at the 7th.
should be .3 - .5mm
if not adjust the rod - and dont stress over it, you wont break anything, after all, thats what its there for

more distance between string & fret @ 7th = anticlockwise
less distance between string & fret @ 7th = clockwise

good luck mate.

Right I need to go counterclockwise. Need more space. There is zero space between the string and fret, so dang.
I'll get to that soon and let you know how it went.
