Alright!
can someone say torque?
okay, it appears that i was at fault. when i tightened the
locking nut pads, i was using the wrench at the vertical position. i realized this and turned the wrench the way it should be, and i didn't realize how much more those pads need tightening. the trem works nearly perfect now. only had last night and this morning to abuse it (and i mean ABUSE!) and it seems like it is in perfect tune still. thanks people!!

PS - by the way, could someone tell me how much maintenence the trem will need as i keep working with it? from what it sounds like the Lo Pro is nearly indestructable and works for a LOONGG time.
PPS - out of curiousity, what exactly makes the Lo TRS II trem so bad? i'm certainly not interested in using it for anything, but when i was buying the 30 (later to be PGM300) i always wondered what exactly makes it so much of lesser quality.
