Two questions: Inserts and swirling.

Question 1: If I take the inserts off a body, are they still usable after that? Was thinking of moving them to another body.

Question 2: When swirling a body, can the inserts be in their places or should I put them in after swirling?

Yes and Yes.

I'd put the inserts in before swirling or any paint work, because you run the risk of damaging the paint when you press the inserts in. Also, if you fill the cavities for the inserts with paint, it may make the fit too tight or the inserts may not seat all the way.
