I used to put dots on an old acoustic guitar... mistake. After some time, they worn out and everything, including the strings gets sticky. You're better off with something a little more permanent.

Awesome, Rich. *I was wondering how I was going to put position dots on a Parker Fly without using stickers. *You are a bad, bad man.

Yet another reason to get a credit card.

I'll buy some normal 'dot' stickers for my 2027 for the time being though.

using sticker as dot on the fretboard?

anyone can tell me which dot i should order from fretware?

I want to add dot onto my PGM90
those 2 little dot on the 12fret are Paua Abalone or Abalone Rim?

Fretware provide 2 size of dots.....1/8" and1/4"
but those 2 dots on the PGM90 seem larger than 1/4" but smaller than 1/8"
which one should I order?

Eek! Josh! Stick-on dots on a Parker Fly?

Sacrilege!

Each to his/her own, i suppose... but try it without dots for a while. The side dots on the Parker necks (except the P-3 are actually bars, and are highly visible. I'm quite comfortable without face dots, and in fact, i prefer it.

Get some aluminum tape (normally used for sealing duct work or as a heat shield) and use a handheld hole punch to make the dots. *The tape is very thin, sticks quite well and comes off easily.

Darren...I like the no dot look, but I don't know if I can get used to it in "pressure" situations.

I never thought I'd say this, but listen. *DONT BUY FROM ME! *Not for a parker man. *My products WILL work on the fingerboard of a parker. *I have a few hardcore customers that have bought guitars without any inlay with the sole intent on cutting their own custom design with my materials, but not really parker guitars. *I would have to agree with the "sacrelidge" statement above! *If you must have some inlay, do some inlay. *It's not very hard to do dots even on a fingerboard that's already been fretted.

So if you don't have inlays you should get dots installed? If you have a Parker, one of the few mass production guitars that would need these stickers, you shouldn't use them?

I second Josh's post...
