Volume knob getting loose!! Help


How do I fix the volume knob on my jem, its getting really shakey and loose?
Is this fixable??

is it the knob itself or the entire Potentiometer (pot) that the knob is attached to?
If its the Pot, pull the knob off ( use a piece of cloth or cardboard and a flat blade to pry off the knob) and tighten the nut that you will see underneath the knob. If its' the knob itself, then you can take a pice of teflon tape and wrap the shaft of the pot with it to fill the gap between the two mating surfaces. Another thing you can do is if the pot is of the split-shaft variety, GENTLY pry apart the 2 halves just enough to keep the knob snug on it.
