Volume/Tone pot replacement

I'm changing out the pickups/pickguard on my UV, so I figured while I was in there, I should change out the volume/tone pots (which are way too sloppy, despite the guitar being near new).

From what I've read, it sounds like CTS makes good stuff. However, I'm not clear on exactly what I need to get in terms of size to replace what's already in the UV:

I believe I need a 500k volume pot. But what size?

id stop bt torres engineering, they have nice pots to chose from

and if ur using high gain pups, id say use a 1 meg volume and a 500k tone

or order from stewmac.com. They have full size and the smaller ones that show up in lots of Ibanez models. Personally, I don't feel any difference between the 2 sizes.
